The formation of B-P Scout Brotherhood 11th George Town (South) Branch started in 1963. After graduated from the Chung Ling High School in the years 1961 and 1962, a group of eight old scouts continue to keep close contact with each other and met regularly on an informal basis at the Scout Headquarters which was then situated at the junction of the Macalister and Anson Road. Originally, the gatherings were purely on the extension of friendship fostered during the school days.
