The Scout movement of Switzerland, counting about 50'000 members is the largest youth organisation within Switzerland. Scouting offers a meaningful balance besides school for the youth. With 23 regionally organized federations with more than 700 local Scouting Groups they are a member of the WOSM (World Organization of the Scout Movement) and the WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts).
